Mike Brown - Drums, Vocals
Mike began his drumming career in the 70's at the age of 14. It wasn't long before he was playing the pizza restaurant circuit with his band Slow Motion. After a few years and a little more experience, Mike went on the road doing the club circuit with local cover band, Multiplex.
After coming off of the road and taking a short hiatus, Mike and some local players formed the original band Dreams and performed to a devoted local following for several years.
After leaving Dreams, Mike was asked to join a local favorite band, Backstreet in 1991.
So far in his career, Mike in various bands, has opened for national acts such as: The Beach Boys, Hank Williams Jr., KC and the Sunshine Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Confederate Railroad, Exile, The Kentucky Headhunters.
Being a "seasoned" drummer with a clock steady beat, unique vocals, and eclectic shirt collection, Mike has helped make Backstreet the fine tuned music machine that it has been for over 20 years.
